(Sofia).- Leading operators in South Africa have opted for the General series slot cabinets of Euro Games Technology (EGT) earlier this year.

EGT installed over 100 General slot machines in South Africa

The renowned Tsogo Sun Gaming, which owns casino and bingo sites in six provinces around the country, has received 91 machines for 8 of its award-winning properties. The cabinets G 27-27 Up, G 27-27 St and G 32-32 VIP, equipped with the Gold Collection HD mix, are now part of the offerings of the Western Cape’s Caledon Casino, the Greek Isles-inspired Mykonos Casino in Langebaan, the dazzling Silverstar Casino at the foot of the Magaliesburg Mountains, the Gold Reef Casino in the heart of Johannesburg South, the famous Montecasino in Fourways, the stylish Blackrock Casino – home of top entertainment in Newcastle, the Golden Horse Casino located next to the Scottsville Racecourse and the Suncoast Casino which is Durban’s most loved recreation destination.

Ten G 27-27 Up cabinets were also installed in the lavish Emperors Palace Casino, located near OR Tambo International airport in Johannesburg. The venue is owned by the noted operator Peermont Global Ltd. that has properties across South Africa and Botswana and is famous for its excellence in design and management.

All machines were delivered by EGT’s long-term distributor for the region – Custom Gaming Solutions Ltd., that has been among the key participants in the local gaming market for over 17 years. With its top-level services that include not only sales but also technical support, spare parts supply and performance analysis for the products, the company aspires to offer only the highest quality slot models and the General series from EGT fulfils that mission to the fullest extent.

“Tsogo Sun and Peermont Global have been loyal supporters of the EGT brand and the exceptional results from previous purchases made the decision to add the latest General series to their floors an easy one. With the latest technical developments included in this new product line, we know the G-series will be a success in the South African market,” shared Steve Diversi, co-founder and managing director of Custom Gaming Solutions.

Euro Games Technology’s models that have long proven themselves in the country are from the Premier series, i.e. P-24/24 Up, P-27/27 St Slim, P-24/32V Up, P-27/32H St and P-42V St Curved, and the largest amount and widest variation of EGT machines in Africa may be seen at Suncoast Casino in Durban. The General Series’ distinctive G 32-32 VIP cabinets can now be found at Suncoast’s new exclusive area on their gaming floor. The installations at Golden Horse, Montecasino and Gold Reef venues that have opted for the G 27-27 Up and St models highlight special carousel-like, round banks for their players.

“The initial reviews from the operators and the reception of the General cabinets from the players has been strongly positive. Some of the new games in the Gold Collection HD mix together with the newly approved G-series Red General HD are already the preferred choices,” added Mr. Diversi. “The demand for EGT on the gaming floors is high, as seen through the occupancy levels of the machines. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 impact occurred shortly after the installations and South Africa is still at Level 1 restrictions. Nevertheless, our active machines are kept busy most of the time. It is difficult yet to foresee any big orders until the economy stabilizes after the pandemic, but EGT is definitely a preferred brand and the well-developed General cabinets give us grounds to believe that we will be able to achieve additional sales within the first half of 2021.”

The General slot line of EGT is the next generation of cabinets that succeeds the Premier series which models became best sellers on a global scale. The “G” machines are state-of-the-art products, aligned with the latest trends in the gaming industry. With contemporary, sophisticated design, frameless high-definition monitors of different sizes and curves, large and convenient keyboard with dynamic touch display, high-ranking platform, crystal clear stereo sound, built-in USB port, well-positioned mechanical counters and many other features they bring greater comfort, ergonomics and impacting gaming. The cabinets reveal new horizons for the players also with their vast libraries of multigame mixes and the VIP members of the General family incorporate a multimedia chair that will satisfy even the most demanding customers.
